Synchro at the Y Club

At the Y Club we have beginner level synchronised swimming lessons for adults!
If you love the water but would like to do more than just swim up and down to keep fit, synchro is a great alternative.
The activity introduces you to new aquatic skills and ways to move in the water. In the classes, we will teach different types of sculling, basic synchro figures, floating patterns and short routines to link the movements together... often you're concentrating so much on mastering the new skill you don't realise how much exercise you are doing.
Synchro helps improve stamina, aerobic capacity, flexibility, muscle strength but most importantly it's such fun trying all the new activities it's great for emotional and psychological health.
To take part in these lessons you will need to be a competent swimmer, who is willing to go underwater!
Classes will be on Thursdays at 7:00pm. £7.50 per class, maximum 6 swimmers in each class. To sign up for the class or to ask a question, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
